Mo i Rana is a melting pot of immigrants from home and abroad, and where barriers and the untested have always been an inspiration. The majority of Mo i Rana's inhabitants have their origins in the coastal districts of Helgeland, from the mountain farms and the small villages. That is why people's connection to the sea, to the mountains and nature is so strong.
At this website you will find out what most of the residents of Mo i Rana do, what you can do yourself in the region, and not least you can get to know parts of Mo i Rana's international and exciting history.
